Before joining PageGroup, I was working as a recruiter at a boutique firm. From a competitor’s perspective, PageGroup is a prestigious agency and a force to be reckoned with. During my job search, I applied to one of Page’s advertisements, assuming it was for a client’s role. Long story short, I was offered a consultant role at Michael Page. It was a no-brainer to accept an offer from one of the top global firms. 

While some may take pride in closing C-level roles, my greatest sense of achievement comes from identifying hidden talent in the job market and matching them with the right clients who can unlock their potential. When that happens, it’s a perfect match, and I get to witness them thrive as star performers. 

The culture and leadership team. PageGroup’s management truly believes in internal development and wholeheartedly supports employees' growth. At other companies, this is often easier said than done, but at PageGroup, it’s a reality.

Recruitment isn’t rocket science. To be a great recruiter, I would advise you to develop strong communication skills and emotional intelligence to build meaningful relationships with clients and candidates. Recruitment consulting is also a continuous journey—you need to stay open to learning about your clients’ industries and keep up with current market trends.
