"My first encounter with Page was when I returned to Indonesia after five years in Singapore. I already knew Page as a global brand and initially planned to join as a candidate. However, during my first interview, Imei introduced me to recruitment and connected me with Page leaders.

The Jakarta office was small, with around fifteen people, and I was excited to join a growing team. Having lived abroad (Australia and Singapore) for eight years, I was drawn to the international environment and diverse culture. The people were vibrant and forward-thinking, and I felt a sense of belonging."

How have you grown with PageGroup?

I started as an Associate Consultant in the Finance Industrial team, where I helped build the Industrial/B2B sector. This gave me valuable experience and allowed me to grow my industry knowledge and network.

The greatest growth came from the soft skills I developed. My confidence, influence, and decision-making have all improved.

Now, as Director, I lead the Finance, Financial Services, and HR practices. I'm focused on driving growth and helping my team reach their potential.

What aspects of working at PageGroup do you find most rewarding?

I joined PageGroup in London as part of the graduate scheme.  I was promoted to manger in 2008 and moved to Kuala Lumpur in 2011 to help launch our Malaysia business which then saw me being promoted to Senior Manager. In 2013, I became a Director and also moved full time to Jakarta to help launch our Indonesia business.

The commercial aspect is also rewarding. Clear targets keep me focused, and achievements are well-recognized. The culture of feedback and coaching has helped me grow, improving weaknesses while maximizing my strengths.

What is the best thing about working for PageGroup?

The best thing about working here is the empowering culture. We have the autonomy to take ownership of our work, with leaders who support us and encourage learning from mistakes.

PageGroup also offers clear career paths. Whether you want to lead or stay as an individual contributor, there's a path for both. High performers can move across teams, like from Finance to Sales or from Michael Page to Page Executive.

But the people and collaborative environment make PageGroup special. It’s a place to grow, feel supported, and make an impact.
